Liza Mar began her therapy sessions with Carolyn in her final primary school year. My concern was her higher-level language skills, specifically her difficulties with making inferences. Carolyn immediately established a fantastic relationship with Liza Mar, who couldn’t wait to get in front of the screen for their weekly meetings. 

The lessons were very intensive and covered a variety of different activities. The online format offered extra interactive ways to make sessions more fun, and also worked very well for us in terms of logistics, since we never had to waste any time out of our fairly busy schedule on travel. 

I am very pleased with the progress Liza Mar made during her therapy. She got very good SAT results and had a great start in her secondary school. Carolyn taught her a lot of strategies to continue to improve her comprehension. I couldn’t be more grateful to Carolyn for all the work she has done with my daughter and for making such a big difference.

 I can’t recommend Bubble and Speak highly enough.
We have been using Alys for about 2.5yrs now.
My son has DS & also has a severe speech & language delay &  I got fed up of my local SALT provision being so sporadic and  insufficient to meet his needs (I knew he needed weekly sessions but  local SALT were only offering 8 sessions per year! 🤦🏼‍♀️).
After some careful research online I discovered the fabulous Alys at Bubble and Speak.
My son is engaged & proactively participating in  our weekly sessions, so much so that I’ve even made sure it has been  written into his EHCP & he now also has weekly sessions in school  too;  so he is now getting 2 SALT sessions a week.
The home sessions  are on days & times to suit us, no driving to a sterile office,  with unknown ‘props’, all the toys used in sessions are his own which he  is familiar with & sessions are tailor made to his needs &  target areas.
Bad weather does not mean sessions are cancelled.
My son really looks forward to his sessions with Alys, both at home  & in school & he has come on so much with his speech &  clarity of speech that everyone remarks on it.
If you too are fed up  & frustrated with your local SALT provision then you can stop all  that & move forward positively with Bubble and Speak.
